Manchester, (2/3). Manchester City succeed their 5th round without a cup replay after they down Aston Villa by three goals in City of Manchester Stadium, credits to Yaya Toure, Mario Balotelli, and David Silva.

The atatcking play resulted a corner kick by the Serbian, Aleksander Kolarov, pointing to Mario Balotelli, not perfectly cleared by Aston Villa defender and the rebound was Yaya Toure’s successful chance. The match were dominated fully by Manchester City, leaving Villa not more than 5 chances in the next 20 minutes. Another goal scored in the 24th minute by the Italian, Mario Balotelli, the attacking play of Manchester City, led by Yaya Toure’s long pass and perfecly controlled by Balotelli, he directly shoots the ball into the back of Brad Friedel’s net. The second half begins, and Aston Villa dominated the first 5 minutes, few threats occurred by Gabriel Agbonlahor and Barry Bannan. The second half leaves the 2 teams balanced until Mario Balotelli replaced by the Argentinian Captain Carlos Tevez. The attacking play much increased when the captain came and resulted a goal in the 70th minute by David Silva after a cross by Zabaleta not perfectly received by Tevez and a rebound ball shot by Silva. The last 20 minutes were balanced, Yaya Toure replaced by Jo and Micah Richards replaced by Dedryck Boyata. The final whistle brings Manchester City to the sixth round of FA Cup Sponsored by E ON which they will play against Reading in City of Manchester Stadium.
